Kbachkun boraan Khmer is a martial art from Cambodia. The name means "Khmer ancient fighting techniques". It is a recreation of the weapon-based combat methods used by the warriors of Angkor, based on a combination of existing Cambodian fighting styles and close study of the bas-reliefs around the country's ancient ruins. Kbachkun boraan makes use of three main weapons. These are the dao (curved sword), the dambong veng (longstaff) and the dambong bogato (twin sticks). The system also incorporates pradal serey as its unarmed component.
